Job Description

Our client, a reputable Real Estate Developer in Ras Al Khaimah, is currently experiencing sustained growth and is seeking a Cost Planner to assist the Commercial Manager in all front-end/pre-contract activities. As a Cost Planner, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the production of new project cost plans, feasibility studies, and bills of quantities.
• Preparing, reviewing, and signing off on cost plans, bills of quantities, and pre-tender estimates.
• Playing a lead role in value engineering exercises for all projects.
• Conducting due diligence on current leading cost planning software solutions.
• Benchmarking and recording historic commodity price information and sector trends, applying currency rate factors and inflation rate factors as necessary.
• Providing resource projections to directors.
• Attending regular client meetings and design meetings.
• Preparing bid model fee calculations in response to client RFPs for new prospects.

Requirements

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Ideally, 10 years of client-side or consultancy experience with a significant portion of that time spent in pre-contract activities.
• Minimum of 5 years of UAE construction knowledge.
• Ideally, degree educated with a professional membership, which would be an advantage.
• Ability to commute to Ras Al Khaimah on a daily basis.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is AED 25,000 to 35,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances. Additional benefits include a 5-day work week, flights allowance, medical coverage, and a bonus scheme.
