Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify training needs of various personnel (White/Blue collars) in consultation with HOD's /Operation Managers
  • Identify the subject matter expert internally in consultation with Management/HODs. If not available, proposal must be made for external consultants
  • Develop OJT (On-the-Job Training) and JRT (Job Related Training) modules for all functions as expected by the Management in order of priority and effectively rolled out for a systematic people development process
  • Manage Training Content development (with internal/external Subject Matter Expert) and delivery. Field visits shall be conducted to understand customer needs and align Training delivery
  • Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
  • Reviews existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance
  • Presents in-person and online training sessions or hires qualified personnel to do so
  • Ensure the determined training needs are executed within the set timeframe
  • Ensure end-to-end training is system practiced in the Company in line with IMS, Clients and KAEFER Standards
  • Act as a SPOC for the enrollment of employees for In-house and Public Courses
  • Carry out periodic evaluation of training providers to ensure quality training is delivered to our employees to benefit the Company and the employees
  • Focus cross/skilling and multi-skilling of employees across the Company, as per management request
  • Establish Training Calendar
  • Constantly build a learning culture amongst the employees and prepare the Organization for the future challenges through continuous learning
  • Undertake an effectiveness evaluation of the training received by employees to gauge how well the employees retain learning inputs and using the concepts learned in training programs
  • Adhere to IMS, KAEFER Code of Business Conduct, and KAEFER Compliance norms
  • Maintain training records of the employees
  • Maintenance and upkeep of Training infrastructure
  • Monitor training programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary
  • Manage costs for all programs, productions, and publications in order to report to organization executives regarding a return on investment
  • Maintain understanding of latest educational and training techniques and methods

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Candidates with industry-approved training-related certification (CIPD Level 5 or 7, CPTD, CPTM, etc) will be given preference
  • 15 years or more of total work experience, of which:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience must be purely in Training and Development
    • Minimum 5 years of experience managing LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Proficiency at an expert level with MS Office and Course Authoring Tools
  • Proficient in English, Hindi. Arabic will be an added advantage
  • GCC Experience in Construction background will be desirable
  • Exceptional communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and willing to travel
  • Thorough knowledge of modern learning and development tools and techniques
  • Should have a flair for coaching and facilitation
  • Self-motivated with an ability to understand business linkages
