Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prior to the start of works, check the Supplier's material and technical documentation delivery schedule, ensuring alignment with construction schedules and contractual commitments.
- Control and approve the Method Statements submitted by the subcontractors, ensuring their correct application on the field.
- Ensure implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibility.
- Participate in HSE activities at the site as defined for the position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.
- Check and promote adherence to the schedule, taking action to recover any delays.
- Ensure that subcontractors have adequate equipment and manpower and that their work conforms to design documents, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Perform inspections and sign necessary certificates as per Site Inspection Plans.
- Prepare the non-conformity register for each subcontractor and coordinate nonconformity resolution.
- Detect design errors and rectify them if possible or request necessary changes from the Site Engineer.
- Check subcontractors' work progress status sheets and sign them for approval.
- Manage vendor specialists.
- Assist the Contract Manager/Engineer in defining new prices, preparing subcontract amendments, and analyzing and discussing claims.
Knowledge & Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Significant experience (8 years) in a similar position.
- Management experience on-site for an Oil & Gas EPC company in at least two plants as a Construction Supervisor HVAC.
