Job Summary

This role at GEMS Education involves supporting the establishment and development of the TELLAL Institute, specifically focusing on pre-service and in-service teacher training for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As the Manager of Teacher Training, you will oversee the design and delivery of SEND Initial Teacher Training and Apprenticeship Teacher Training Routes. Additionally, you will play a key role in promoting and embedding best practices in teacher training at the individual, school, and group levels within TELLAL.

Required Skills

• Specialist knowledge and understanding in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including the UAE context.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in education, with a solid understanding of the UAE educational landscape.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in adult training and qualifications.
• Proven track record and successful training and teaching experience in the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities sector.
