Job Summary
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of job files with cargo documents and relevant correspondence.
- Provide timely correspondence and advice to clients regarding dispatch procedures and documentation requirements for clearance and delivery.
- Coordinate with cargo agents for the delivery order when cargo documents are received.
- Collaborate with various operations departments to ensure smooth coordination of vessel ETAs and time of delivery.
- Coordinate local collection and delivery of equipment.
- Follow up with exit point offices for the collection of signed and stamped delivery notes and exit/entry certificates for timely submission of claims to Customs.
- Source competitive air and sea freight rates for dispatch of landed items and submit quotations to clients.
- Assist the Logistics Supervisor with cost estimation for each job file.
- Update cargo movement lists and provide daily updates to all operations departments.
- Prepare weekly reports on exit/entry certificate status and monthly quantitative reports on spares movement.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and be vigilant about imported goods under the importer code.
- Acknowledge pre-alert emails during team members' absence or on weekends.
Work Experience and Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry.
- Work location: Fujairah.
- Age: 25-30 years.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
